Abstract: A cigar holder includes a first member having a retainer secured to a first base for extending about a cigar. The first base includes a magnet. A second member includes a clip secured to a second base for fastening to a hat. The second base includes a metallic member. Magnetic coupling between the first and second base members allows relative rotation therebetween to position the cigar at a desired orientation. The retainer and first base member may be integrally molded from plastic material. The clip and second base member may be integrally molded from plastic material. The retainer encircles the cigar through an angular arc of at least 200 degrees. A method of supporting a cigar from a user's hat includes releasably securing the retainer about the cigar, coupling the clip around a portion of the user's hat, and positioning the first base proximate to the second base.
