Patent number: PP36673Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Hibiscus moscheutos plant named ‘G21086’ is disclosed, characterized by large cherry red flowers with a large red eye, and distinct venation radiating out from the central eye out into the petals. Eye color is only slightly darker than the color of flower petals. Flower size is large, about 6 to 7 inches. Emerging foliage is chocolate brown to violet. Plants are compact, growing to approximately 36 to 42 inches high and wide with dense basal branching. Plants emerge and flower earlier than is typical of the species. The new variety is a Hibiscus moscheutos, normally produced as an outdoor garden or container plant.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2024Date of Patent: May 13, 2025Assignee: Garden GeneticsInventor: Richard A. Patent number: PP36850Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Allium plant named ‘G22087’ is disclosed, characterized by large dark pink flowers held on stiff, thick flowering stems. Plants are stiffly upright with wider than average foliage for garden chives. Flowering occurs constantly through Summer. The new variety is an Allium, normally used for outdoor ornamental purposes.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2025Date of Patent: July 22, 2025Assignee: Garden GeneticsInventor: Richard A. Grazzini

Patent number: PP36793Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Dianthus plant named ‘G22090’ is disclosed, characterized by large flowers with a base color of light pink with a large red-violet eye, and a very distinct star pattern in the same dark red-violet color radiating from the central eye down the petal to the petal tip. Healthy glaucous blue-green foliage exhibits good field tolerance to common Dianthus pathogens. The new variety is a Dianthus, normally used for outdoor ornamental purposes.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2024Date of Patent: July 1, 2025Assignee: Garden GeneticsInventor: Richard A. Grazzini

Patent number: PP36750Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Hibiscus moscheutos plant named ‘G21087’ is disclosed, characterized by large light pink flowers with distinct dark veins radiating from the central eye out into the petals. Flower size is large, about 7 to 8 inches. Young foliage is deep purple, and a deep purple flush is maintained on mature foliage. Plants are compact, growing to approximately 36 to 42 inches high and wide with dense basal branching. Plants emerge and flower earlier than is typical of the species. Plants have been shown Winter hardy to USDA Zone 5. The new variety is a Hibiscus moscheutos, normally produced as an outdoor garden or container plant.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2024Date of Patent: June 17, 2025Assignee: Garden GeneticsInventor: Richard A. Patent number: PP36710Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Dianthus plant named ‘G19159’ is disclosed, characterized by large bright magenta flowers with rounded, overlapping petals. Healthy mid-green foliage exhibits good field tolerance to common Dianthus pathogens. The new variety is a Dianthus, normally used for outdoor ornamental purposes.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2024Date of Patent: May 27, 2025Assignee: Garden GeneticsInventor: Richard A. Grazzini

Patent number: PP37089Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Hemerocallis plant named ‘G221407’ is disclosed, characterized by flowers of an apricot-orange color, with a yellow throat, a darker orange-red eye and a slight ruffle to the petal edge. ‘G221407’ is a diploid, dormant type daylily, losing foliage with frost each fall, and re-emerging from the crown in the following spring. ‘G221407’ grows quickly and vigorously following emergence from dormancy, showing a growth rate during bare-root production which exceeds most comparable daylilies. ‘G221407’ blooms continuously from first-flower in early June until hard frost in the autumn. Plants are observed winter-hardy through at least USDA Zone 5. The new variety is a Hemerocallis, normally used for outdoor ornamental purposes.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2025Date of Patent: November 4, 2025Assignee: Garden GeneticsInventor: Richard A. Patent number: PP37103Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Salvia plant named ‘G22088’ is disclosed, characterized by large, thick, rugose foliage. Plants have been observed to tolerate leaf pathogens(specifically powdery mildew). Both flowers and foliage are large. Leaves are intensely flavored and fragrant. The new variety is a Salvia, normally used for outdoor ornamental and culinary purposes.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2025Date of Patent: November 18, 2025Assignee: Garden GeneticsInventor: Richard A. Patent number: PP37450Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Coleus plant named ‘G21015’ is disclosed, characterized by a compact, densely branched plant habit forming a globose shape. Foliage is dark burgundy red in the central area, surrounded by a thick gold-green picotee edge and a fine dark burgundy red margin. Floral initiation begins in early October, or later at 41N latitude, under natural daylength. Foliage is strongly resistant to Coleus downy mildew (CDM), caused by Peronospora choii. No symptoms of CDM have been observed on new variety ‘G21015’ since its selection in 2021 in greenhouse, outdoor container, or outdoor in-ground trials. In those same trials, CDM-susceptible Coleus varieties were observed to suffer foliage losses due to CDM infection at rates from 25% to 100%. The new cultivar is a Coleus, typically produced as an outdoor ornamental plant or for garden or container uses.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2025Date of Patent: June 2, 2026Assignee: Garden GeneticsInventor: Richard A.
