Abstract: What is provided are compositions of matter and methods for making compositions of matter, which comprise liquid roof coating products and/or roof cement products comprising recycled scrap asphalt shingle that is dry processed without adding heat or liquid into particles substantially within the range of 10-40 mesh size, and which are post added to a liquid mixture to compose a roof coating and/or roof cement product.
Abstract: A emulsion for sealants, coatings and/or mastics having reduced volatile organic compounds is disclosed. The emulsion includes a slurry of substantially fully hydrated colloidal clay and a cutback in preferred ratios such that the emulsion has characteristics adapted to cold application processes. A method of reducing volatile organic compounds in sealants, coatings and/or mastics is also disclosed.
