    Abstract: A universal drain trap and separator having a hand removable bowl with an open top and a center post which extends upwardly through a lid member which closes the bowl in a sealed relation; inlet and outlet conduits attached to the lid and fastening means including a handle which passes up through the center post of the bowl for attachment to the lid and a peripheral lip around the top of the bowl extending upwardly sufficiently to contain the fluid in the conduits and trap when the bowl is removed therefrom.
