Abstract: A stowaway compact rocker having a set-up condition and a collapsed and bundled condition comprises a stationary chair frame base; a movable seating chair frame adapted for rocking movement relative to the stationary chair frame base; and a rocker mechanism operatively connected between the stationary chair frame base and the movable seating chair frame. The stationary chair frame base comprises a central axle tube; a pair of leg plates disposed on the central axle tube; front leg tubes; and rear legs tubes, each leg tube being adapted for connection to a leg plate. The movable seating chair frame comprises a pair of seat tube plates mounted on the central axle tube for rotation thereabout; seat member tubes, each being adapted for connection to a respective one of the seat tube plates; and back-rest tubes, each being adapted for connection to a respective one of the seat tube plates.

Abstract: A portable and collapsible stadium seat comprises a seat bottom support, a back support, and a safety latch for properly positioning the seat in place relative to a stadium bleacher seating surface or bench. The seat bottom support and back support are interconnected for movement between an operative, or set-up, condition defining a seating surface and a back support surface, and a collapsed, or bundled, condition designed for easy transport and storage of the seat. The safety latch is movably connected on underside of the seat bottom support, preferably towards the forward end thereof, and provides a stop and an arm facilitating proper and safe positioning of the seat on a bleacher or bench surface for use. The seat preferably includes a carrying strap or handle for transporting the collapsed and bundled seat, for example, over the user's shoulder or via a hand grasp.

Abstract: A collapsible and portable rocking chair includes left and right frame side assemblies collectively defining forward and rear leg members, armrests, seat support members and back support members. The chair also includes transverse connectors connecting the left and right frame said assemblies and supporting the chair in its set-up condition. The connectors are pivotally connected to one another as well as to the left and right frame side assemblies to facilitate folding of the chair frame to a collapsed and bundled condition where all the frame members are pivoted and/or slid relative to one another to a generally parallel condition. Each frame side assembly is supported on a fulcrum point for rocking movement of the chair frame. A rocker mechanism is attached to the chair frame to support the chair during rocking movement and to facilitate rocking of the chair in connection with the user's shifting weight.

The first joints in the mutually nested configuration then define mutually parallel axes about which the first members can be folded to a collapsed configuration.

Abstract: A collapsible and portable chair includes a storage container provided on the backrest of the chair. Such a storage container can be used to secure and protect items contained therein. The container is formed on the back-side of the chair's back-rest by a web of fabric sewn to the backrest panel, enclosed on the bottom and both sides, but open on the top edge to provide easy access to the interior of the container. The open top end of the container can be closed using a cinching means, while still providing easy access to the interior of the container either when the chair is in its set-up or collapsed condition. The chair can also include a shade that can be set-up to provide a seated user with shade, or collapsed about the back-side of the chair without interfering with use of the container.
