Abstract: The invention particularly relates to a tool set for setting-up a flow monitoring device (1) in a fluid piping (K). This tool set comprises at least one hollow semi-flexible hose (31) provided with a jack (33) bearing the device (1) in a sheath, a pump (32) monitoring the pressure inside the hose, a support member (4) slidingly crossed by the hose (31), and an introduction airlock (5) carried by the support member and making it possible to sealingly insert the hose in the piping (K).
Abstract: An electronic identification device for identifying, among conductors of a wiring system including multiple conductors, at least one conductor that is series-connected to a magnetically controlled switch. The device comprises a test connector having pins that are connected to respective conductors to be tested, a microcontroller commanding, in a predetermined order and in two steps, the sending of a test signal to each of the pins of the test connector, and conducting measurements and comparisons for the identification of the conductors, a signal source that is connected both to the pins of the test connector and to the microcontroller, a magnetic field source, and a display for the display of the identification.

Abstract: A burner has a pot provided with an inlet for a gas mixture to be burned and a cap that sits on top of the pot. The pot and the cap define both a central zone for combustion of the gas mixture, and a peripheral chamber that extends around the central zone and communicates with the gas inlet. A plurality of passageways allow the gas mixture to flow from the peripheral chamber into the central zone. A deflector separates, in a non-leaktight manner, the chamber into a lower subchamber, located substantially in the extension of the inlet, and an upper subchamber adjacent said passageways.
Abstract: The invention pertains to the heating of a metal strip, and relates to equipment for heating a metal strip that comprises a pre-heating housing provided with a device for projecting hot gases towards the strip, a heating housing with regenerative burners, a duct for discharging the gases from the heating housing, a three-way adjustable valve and an adjustment device including a sensor for detecting the setpoint temperature of the metal strip and a member for adjusting the three-way valve so that it can adjust the amount of hot gases fed to the projection device. The invention can be used in equipment for heating narrow strips before annealing the same.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a safety device to be inserted in a pipe through which a fluid flows from an upstream side to a downstream side, this device comprising a tube offering the fluid a central flow path controlled by a central valve which closes in the event of excessive flow of this fluid, an elastically deformable annular shutter mounted on the external periphery of the tube, and retention clamps. According to the disclosure, each of the clamps has a tied end fastened to the periphery of the tube upstream of the annular shutter and can adopt, under the effect of a radial compression, a folded configuration in which its free end is turned towards this annular shutter.
Abstract: A combustion method for melting glass in which two fuels of the same nature or different natures are fed into a fusion furnace at two locations remote from each other for distributing the fuel to reduce NOx emissions. The combustion air is supplied at only one of the locations. In a method for operating a glass melting furnace, the fuel injection is distributed to reduce NOx emissions. The furnace includes a melting vessel for receiving the glass to be melted and containing a bath of molten glass, walls defining the furnace, a hot combustion air inlet, a hot smoke outlet, at least one burner for injecting a first fuel, and at least one injector for injecting a second fuel. The injector has an adjustable flow complementary relative to the flow to the burner so that up to 100% of the totality of the first and second fuels used may be injected.

Abstract: A method and a device for processing and storing data generated in a fluid flow station, the data being read and put into a volatile memory allocated to a communicating module of the flow station. The data are analyzed according to predetermined relevancy criteria to select data corresponding to a type of event, and the selected data are analyzed according to a redundancy criterion to detect data having the same value during two successive readings. The data having a value unchanged in relation to the value of the previous reading are replaced by a mark and the data thereby compressed are stored in a non-volatile memory.
