    Abstract: A pressure-resistant and chemical-resistant stopcock valve (10) includes an elongate cylindrical wall (14) and a bracing wall (28) spanning across the internal cavity. The cylindrical wall and the bracing wall define a through passage (32) extending across the stopcock body. The bracing wall provides additional support to the stopcock about the flowports at either end of the passage to better maintain fluid integrity with the associated manifold into which the stopcock is inserted.
