Patents Assigned to GEA Buck Valve GmbH
  • Patent number: 7770936
Abstract: In a multiple coupling lock system and method for an environmentally sealed filling or refilling of a first container or a first hose, a first coupling lock has an opening area which is opened. A first flexible conveyance unit has a first end connected to the first coupling lock in an environmentally sealed manner. A second opposite end of the first flexible conveyance unit connects to a second coupling lock in an environmentally sealed manner, the opening area of the first coupling lock being sufficiently large when opened to allow the second coupling lock to pass therethrough. The second coupling lock connects in an environmentally sealed manner to the first container or first hose. The system or method provides the ability to environmentally fill or refill the first container or first hose-in an environmentally sealed manner.

  • Patent number: 7398804
Abstract: The sealed docking system comprises first and second coupling elements each having respective first and second coupling elements with respective first and second flexible receptacles. Each coupling element has a slot. The two coupling elements engage with one another. The coupling elements are flexible so that when force is applied the slots open.

  • Patent number: 7104293
Abstract: In a coupling element for decanting, filling, or emptying of containers, a first sealing strip a flank piece comprising elastic as a first mounting element at a first end defining a first inner space for retaining a first axis, and a second mounting element on a second opposite end defining a second inner space for retaining a second axis. A second sealing strip comprising elastic has a first mounting element on a first end which defines a first inner space for retaining the second axis, and a second mounting element on a second opposite end which defines the second inner space for retaining the first axis. Inner sides of the flank pieces of the first and second sealing strips are attachable to one another to form a seal.

  • Patent number: 6913048
Abstract: A device couples two storage and/or transport units with a security device. By alternately using a single actuating device, the security device and a pivoting device react in such a way that connecting branches of the units which are coupled are placed in a lock position by the security device and are firmly locked with respect to each other such that it is not possible to separate them. Closing valves in the connecting branches insure that the connecting branches are sealed from each other. By subsequently rotating the drive shaft, it is possible to open the closing valves using the pivoting device in order to enable a transfer process to occur. By rotating the drive shaft back, the closing valves are re-closed. Also by rotating the drive shaft, the connecting branches can be separated from each other.

  • Patent number: 6807979
Abstract: A device and method are provided for coupling two storage and/or transport units with a cleaning device. In one cleaning position, either before or after a transfer process, an area is provided between two connecting branches and at least one part of front flaps of two closing valves and the connecting valves which is embodied as a cleaning chamber enclosed on all sides, and which can be sealed with respect to the outside atmosphere and product area. The cleaning space is protected against unintentional opening as a result of at least partial locking of the connecting branches with respect to each other. Cleaning occurs using the cleaning fluid without any danger of contamination be it from transfer product and/or the atmosphere.
