Abstract: In the method, a series of experiments is performed in order to explore a set of process parameter ranges and/or a set of ingredient ranges of a pharmaceutical processing system. The method comprises step 180, in which a set of process parameter ranges and/or a set of ingredient ranges is selected. In step 182 the series of experiments is run automatically in an integrated continuous pharmaceutical product processing system, in which the set of process parameter ranges and/or said set of ingredient ranges are explored. Measurement data is collected during the experiments taking into account the process dynamics in step 184. In step 186, a set of quality attributes is evaluated relative to at least one target attribute and/or quality attribute of a predetermined set of target attributes and/or quality attributes of a product, respectively. Finally, in step 188, the measurement data is stored.
