Patents Assigned to Gebr. Hilgeland
  • Patent number: 6298708
Abstract: A tool holder having a plurality of tools fixed thereon is used in a production machine such as a production press to position one tool after the other opposite a workpiece holder. All of the tools perform the same operation and can be brought into position by a pneumatic cylinder which can angularly displace a pinion engaging a rack.

  • Patent number: 4967586
Abstract: An upsetting press for swaging wire segments into balls or the like. The press includes a fixed matrix, a stamp holder provided for a stamp and mounted on a machine frame so as to be displaceable in the stamping direction, a cam drive mechanism for the stamp holder, and a gripper device provided for the wire segments. The cam drive mechanism is a double cam that is rotatably mounted in the machine frame. An angle lever is pivotably mounted in the machine frame. Follower rollers are carried by the angle lever and run on the double cam. A presser carriage is provided for the stamp holder and is guided in the machine frame in such a way that it can move back and forth. A knee lever is provided that has two arms, one of which is connected to the machine frame and the other of which is connected to the presser carriage. A connecting rod operatively interconnects the angle lever with the knee lever.

  • Patent number: 4208899
Abstract: A press for producing machine elements, such as balls, rivets and the like, especially machine elements of relatively small dimensions, e.g. balls having a diameter of 1 mm, from wire sections, which includes a wire intake device, a device for shearing off the wire, a device for conveying the wire sections to and in front of a stationary matrix, and a punch associated with the matrix and adapted to be reciprocated back and forth in axial direction with regard to the matrix. If desired, there may also be provided ejectors for the punch or the matrix. The punch is, axially with regard to the matrix, movably guided in a tool carrier which in pressing direction is stationarily arranged in the machine frame. Furthermore, the punch is drivingly connected to a rotatable cam disc through the intervention of a pick-up roller.
