Abstract: An apparatus for stacking and unstacking substantially rectangular articles, such as, for instance, crates or baking pans for bread, the apparatus having at least one guide extending in the longitudinal direction of an article storage area, a lifting trolley mobile over the guide and a lifting arm connected with the lifting trolley. The lifting arm carries a lifting member extending in the width direction of the article storage area and movable upward and downward above the article storage area by means of the lifting arm, at least two guides being provided. Each guide comprises a lifting trolley with a swivellable lifting arm hingedly connected with the lifting trolley. The swivellable lifting arms can each be swivelled in a vertical plane, the swivellable lifting arms being connected, at the end remote from the lifting trolley, with the lifting machine.

Abstract: A conveyor having a carrying surface formed by rollers (12, 13) which are freely rotatably mounted on bars (5) extending transversely between the links (3, 4) of side chains (1, 2). The chain links (3, 4) are slidable one into another to enable the inside-bend chain (2) to temporarily contract when moving through a bend. The rollers (12) of a plurality thereof are mounted next to each other on each roller-carrying bar (5).

Abstract: Storage method, in particular intermediate storage method for baking tins, whereby the baking tins are disposed in racks wherein the baking tins are positioned story-wise in rows behind each other and always one type of baking tin per each rack.

Abstract: A conveyor, in particular for eggs, comprising two lateral chains of the type having closed annular links extending in perpendicular planes. The chains are interconnected by a number of transverse bars forming the actual carrier surface. Successive bars have different levels upon a common reference plane, so that at least the upper surface of each second bar is on a higher level than the upper surface of the first bar. One advantage is that eggs resting on two bars can be transported over steeper rises without rolling backwards.

Abstract: A conveyor suitable for displacing pans containing dough portions in a proofing chamber according to a continuous spiral, actually helical track, of which conveyor the conveyor is formed by at least one chain and a plurality of driving devices which engage the chain at different levels of the spiral track, said spiral track comprising parallel, rectilinear sections and curved connection bends, the driving devices being designed as pocketed sheaves which in rectilinear track sections engage the chain or chains, said chains being designed as a link chain of the ship's anchor chain type and guided in fitting sections, there being disposed chain tensioners means at each driving pocketed sheave.
