Abstract: In a first aspect, a method for producing a strip from a web material using a follow-on and/or transfer method, wherein the strip to be produced has a first length of 20 cm or more in the longitudinal direction and has a U-shaped cross section, wherein the U-shaped cross section has an opening width of 6 mm or less and extends in the longitudinal direction in a first curvature and a second curvature, wherein the center point of the first curvature lies to the side of a limb of the U-shaped cross section and the center point of the second curvature lies above or below an opening in the U-shaped cross section.
