Abstract: A mixing tool 10 can be mounted within a drum 20. A mixing arm 12 of the ing tool 10 can be held by a shaft borne in a rotatable fashion. A mixing body 11 is mounted to the mixing arm 12 and directed towards the inner surface of the drum. One or more rods 13 are introduced onto the outer surface 14 of the mixing body 11 and have a prominent mixing edge 18. A mixing tool of simple construction is developed with which nearly all mixable bulk products and/or product mixtures can be processed without leading to the formation of product deposits in the region between the inner surface of the drum and the mixing body 11.

Abstract: Two measuring cups (5, 6) are alternately filled and emptied. The fill st is determined by an overflow, and the emptying time during which a withdrawal pump (30) is connected to the respective cup is determined by scanning pump revolutions. The scanned pump revolutions for emptying are compared with a desired pumping rate, entered into a counter (50) which decrements in accordance with revolutions of the pump (30), and, if a deviation from commanded pumping rate is sensed, a correction memory (60) is loaded which controls over a control unit (33, 61) change in pumping speed to null any deviation from commanded rate. To associate the commanded rate with actual weight of chips or fibers to be coated, the chips or fibers can be weighed continuously, and the continuously weighed number entered into the control computer (33) to generate a command number for entry into the decrementing counter (50).

Abstract: A method for gluing of chips, fibers, and similar ligno-cellular containing articles which are discharged falling free in a vertical chute and being subjected at least partially to rotational forces during the downward movement thereof, being glued and thereafter being discharged from the chute, characterized thereby that the chips during the free fall thereof are collected into a rotating chip material ring and after at least substantial formation of the chip material ring being glued and that directly subsequently chips of the at least substantially formed chip material ring are subjected to components of movement directed upwardly in such a manner that the chip material ring is stopped in the downward movement thereof.
