Abstract: A pressure transducer with a capillary tube filled with a fluid for high pressure measurements. The pressure transducer has a sensitive element formed with a bore defining a cylindrical sensitive chamber, and respective capillary tubes attached to either ends of the sensitive element in fluid communication with the sensitive chamber. Advantageously, each capillary tube has a respective end outside threaded to engage in a mating thread-way provided in the sensitive element; moreover, a perimeter weld is provided for safety around each capillary tube near the connection to the sensitive element.

Abstract: The invention relates to a position sensor for oil-operated piston/cylinder units and adapted for installation inside the cylinder of the unit. The sensor comprises a cursor mounted for displacement inside a linear potentiometer that is associated with one piston end to provide an indication of the piston travel. Advantageously, the potentiometer and cursor are housed inside an armored case. A magnetic actuator is associated to the piston and slidable along the outer surface of the armored case in magnetic coupling relationship with the cursor. The steel structure of the case is sealed to enable use of the sensor under very high pressures.

Abstract: A pressure sensor, particularly for use in extruders of plastic materials, having an outer enclosure containing a supporting element for a semiconductor chip which is provided with a strain-gauge on one of opposite faces of the chip, a covering element in order to close the enclosure, a mechanical transmission element accommodated in the covering element, directed toward the semiconductor chip and in contact with the chip, the semiconductor chip being accommodated so as to float in the supporting element.
