  • Patent number: 9086248
Abstract: A monocore for a sound suppressor that significantly enhances the trapping and delay of the gases exiting from the sound suppressor due to the design, location, and configuration of slanted baffles and angled half-baffles, and a plurality of rods. The slanted baffles help define the blast chamber, expansion chambers, and exit chamber of the monocore. The plurality of rods may be positioned in the blast chamber or the expansions chambers. The plurality of rods may vary in length. The plurality of rods may also replace the angled half-baffles.

  • Patent number: 7677150
Abstract: A system for connecting an accessory to a firearm having an enlarged muzzle portion has a body with a bore sized to closely receive the enlarged portion. The body has a stop to limit the insertion depth of the muzzle. A gate is received by the body for movement along the path perpendicular to the bore axis. The gate has a recessed area sized to receive the enlarged muzzle portion. A spring generates axial force to retain the muzzle portion within the recessed area. Compression of the spring enables movement of the gate to shift between an open and closed position, so that the accessory may be removed or installed when in the open position, and secured when in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 7308967
Abstract: A sound suppressor for a firearm for reducing sound and flash levels upon the discharge of a firearm comprises a cylindrical housing, a proximal end cap with means for attachment to a firearm and to the cylindrical housing, a distal end cap with means for attachment to the housing, and a plurality of baffles positioned within the housing and between the proximal end and distal end caps of the suppressor. A separate cylindrical spacer element is positioned between the proximal end cap of the suppressor and the first baffle. This spacer provides axial positioning of the baffles within the cylindrical housing of the suppressor. The distal end cap of the suppressor is provided with a concentric circular hole or aperture for the projectile to pass through the end of the suppressor.
