    Abstract: A system for controlling a power converter having an inductive component is disclosed. The system includes a low pass filter electrically coupled to the inductive component for producing a source referenced voltage proportional to a current flowing through the inductive component. The system also includes a control device electrically coupled to the low pass filter for calculating the current through the inductive component using the source referenced voltage and controlling the power converter using the calculated current.
