    Abstract: A mandrel mounted on a support and corresponding to the configuration of the tube to be formed is surrounded by an inductor placed at a distance which permits displacement and expansion of the tube on the mandrel under the action of pressure application means. The inductor carries a medium-frequency current which is maintained at a constant value during the forming operation in order to permit controlled annealing and plastic deformation of the tube.
