  • Patent number: 4552264
Abstract: The self-service jewelry container includes a relatively rigid cup-shaped base, a relatively resilient pedestal and a relatively rigid transparent cylindrical cover having a slant top. The base and cover can be taped together to render the container more pilfer-resistant. A predetermined angular relationship is established between the base and pedestal by means of an interfitting rib and groove configuration, and a predetermined angular relationship is established between the base and cover by means of a notch and tab. Lips on the base and cover telescopically interfit. In this way, when the several parts constituting the container are assembled, the slant top is properly oriented with the pedestal for the display of the jewelry mounted on the pedestal within the transparent cover. Two pedestal embodiments are disclosed, one for holding a flexible necklace and the other for holding a bangle.

  • Patent number: 4463856
Abstract: The jewelry display stand comprises a plurality of substantially vertical, rectangular side panels of equal height connected to each other at their vertical edges and mounted on and secured to a preferably circular flat bottom piece. One of the side panels may be a mirror panel, but at least one of the side panels is a display panel having a plurality of vertically oriented display arms extending perpendicularly therefrom parallel to the vertical edges of said display panel. Adjacent display arms contain opposing vertical slots running the length of the display arms. The slots are of such depth that rectangular jewelry display cards having earrings and the like attached thereto may be slidably mounted and held on the display panel. The jewelry display stand is also provided with a detachable decorative lid which can sit flush on and cover the top of the side panels and vertical slots to prevent theft of jewelry mounted on the display cards.

  • Patent number: 4390099
Abstract: A pilfer resistant device for holding articles such as jewelry chains, necklaces and the like. The device includes a circular display member upon which the chains are positioned, by slipping them through one or more separations or spaces formed in the display member, so that the chain can be suspended over the member. Small sleeves, having the same arc as the display member, are slidably mounted on the display member for closing the gaps formed in the display member. By rotating the sleeve a small amount with respect to the display member, the sleeve can be effectively locked onto the display member.
