Abstract: In a custom code setting system of a remote control chip, M keyboard input/output pins are connected to an external keyboard to receive the input of the external keyboard. A first pin is connected to one terminal of an external resistor, while the other terminal of the external resistor is connected to ground, wherein there are N resistance values selectable for the external resistor. A resistance detecting unit is connected to the first resistor to detect the resistance of the first resistor. A second pin is connected to one of the M keyboard input/output pins for setting a custom code. When power on reset occurs, a control logic receives the resistance from the resistance detecting unit, and one of the N×M custom codes is determined according to connection between the second pin and one of the M keyboard input/output pins.

Abstract: An audible post-it system includes a post-it note printed with an index and an optical reading and recording device having an optical module, a switch, a storage device, an audio recording device, an audio playing device and a processor. The optical reading and recording device reads an image of the index. When the optical reading and recording device is at a recoding state, the processor receives the image of the index and obtains the index, then receives a digital audio outputted by the audio recording device to match the index with the digital audio, and stores the digital audio based on the index. When the optical reading and recording device is at a playing state, the processor receives the image of an index and retrieves the index, then reads a digital audio based on the index, and sends the digital audio to the audio playing device for playing.

  • Patent number: 8085613
Abstract: In step S508, it is determined whether or not a power low signal SRC_LOSS outputted from the data latch is change. Generally Speaking, the power low signal SRC_LOSS outputted from the data latch would be changed according to the state of the power voltage of the power input terminal. When the power voltage of the power input terminal is charged/discharged to the common voltage, the power low signal SRC_LOSS outputted from the data latch may be changed from the logical high voltage to the logical low voltage or from the original logical low voltage to the logical high voltage. Since the mention above is design of selectiveness, the detailed description is omitted. When the determination is positive, the step S509 is performed. When the determination is negative, the step S511 is performed to re-detect.

  • Patent number: 7880479
Abstract: A capacitive sensor includes a sensing electrode, control unit, first and second comparator wherein the sensing electrode includes a first and a second conductors. A positive input terminal of the first comparator and a negative input terminal of the second comparator are coupled to the first conductor. A positive input terminal of the second comparator and a negative input terminal of the first comparator are coupled to the second conductor. The first and second comparators respectively output first and second comparing signals according to voltages of the positive and the negative terminals thereof. The control unit charges the first conductor and discharges the second conductor when the first and second comparing signals correspondingly are in first and second logic states. The control unit is operable on the contrary when the first and second comparing signals are in opposition to the abovementioned description.
