Abstract: A porcine seminal material composition intended for artificial insemination of sows includes capsules containing a suspension made of porcine seminal material coated with a bi-valent or tri-valent ion alginate film, wherein the porcine spermatozoon concentration within the porcine seminal material suspension present in the capsules is between 900 and 1500 million spermatozoa per milliliter.

Abstract: The artificial vagina for the collection of animal semen includes two half-shells capable of being positioned with regard to one another in order to form a tubular shell, said shell being rigid and open at its two extremities. A half-sleeve is accommodated inside each half-shell, in such a manner that once the two half-shells are positioned with regard to one another in order to form said shell, the two half-sleeves form a tubular housing that is suitable for receiving the penis of an animal, said housing being soft and capable of elastic deformation in a radial direction. At least one of the half-shells includes a lateral opening that allows radial pressure to be exerted manually through the half-shell onto the corresponding half-sleeve.

Abstract: The device (1) for collection of animal semen comprises a rigid (2) which is adaptable to an artificial vagina (V), and to which filtration means (3) and a collection receptacle (4) are fixed, the filtration means (3) being positioned inside the collection receptacle (4). The filtration means form a filtration pouch, preferably conical, that make it possible to hold back the “tapioca” and to allow the liquid fractions of the semen, including the “rich fraction” containing the spermatozoa, to pass into the collection receptacle (4).

Abstract: The invention concerns a device for sampling animal seminal liquid, notably boar seminal liquid, exhibiting at least one housing capable of accommodating a penis and a trigger for ejaculation. According to the invention, the ejaculation trigger includes a mechanism to subject the walls of the housing to pulses intended for stimulating the penis. The invention also concerns a facility for collecting an animal seminal liquid including such a device and also a usage thereof or of said facility for collecting boar seminal liquid.
