Abstract: A method and system for allowing one or more users controlled access to at least one server from a plurality of servers by using an advanced command interface (ACI) server. The method and system include receiving a command at the ACI server from the one or more users to access the at least one server. Further, the method and system include comparing the command and impact of the command with a predefined set of criteria, which includes a plurality of skill and role levels corresponding to the one or more users. Subsequently, the command is transmitted from the ACI server to the at least one server for processing at the at least one server. The command is transmitted based on the predefined set of criteria. Thereafter, a response of the processed command from the at least one server is received. Finally, the method and system include forwarding the response of the processed command to the one or more users.

Abstract: A method and system for analyzing outsourcing of services such as engineering, and ranking suppliers for all activities to ensure quality, controllership and optimum costs, is provided. Outsourcing involves delegating a plurality of activities to a plurality of suppliers. The activities and the suppliers are scored to generate scorecards. Thereafter, an index is calculated, based on the scorecards. Subsequently, the index, along with scorecards, is utilized to rank and select suppliers for all outsourced activities.
Abstract: An intermediate processing layer provides for the inclusion of procurement functionalities of a multi-level enterprise business application by bridging processing and other operational gaps in the enterprise application. The invention further includes the methodology for operating the procurement management system including numerous processing steps or operations, which may be guided in part based on software-based executable instructions or guidelines incorporated into or governing the executable operations. The procurement system includes four defined portals, a procurement portal, a sourcing portal, a reporting portal, and a supplier portal. The procurement system further includes additional levels of support, information or other layers of user interface. These portals and layers are disposed within existing processing components of the business enterprise suite and provide an interactive component to various users, specifically through the portals.
