Abstract: The present invention relates to novel methods for the analysis of interactions of transcription factors with target nucleic acids. In particular, the present invention relates to compositions and methods for the detection of transcription factors binding to their target promoter regions. The present invention further provides methods of screening compounds for their ability to alter such binding interactions.
