The rotary pulsers can include a regulator mechanism and a pump. Based on a parameter or condition associated with the rotary pulser, the regulator mechanism can adjust a parameter of the pump to control rotation of the rotor. Exemplary embodiments are also directed to methods of regulating a rotary pulser.
