Abstract: The present invention refers to a process for drying solid organic substances in aqueous phase including the steps of: feeding a continuous flow of such organic substances having a water content=50% by weight into a turbodrier having a cylindrical tubular body with horizontal axis, equipped with inlet and outlet openings, a heating jacket for bring the inner wall of the tubular body to a predetermined temperature, a bladed rotor extending inside the cylindrical tubular body (1) where it is made to rotate at speeds between 15 and 40 m/s, so as to disperse the continuous flow of organic substances into a flow of particles of organic substances; centrifuging the particles of organic substances against the inner wall of the turbodrier heated to a temperature above 130° C.
Abstract: Dry master batch comprising at least one pigment and a dispersion carrier, characterized in that it contains at least 80% by weight calculated on the weight of the mixture of particles of pigment dispersed in said carrier; it can be prepared by means of a process that comprises the steps of feeding a flow of pigment obtained from a process of synthesis in aqueous or organic phase in the form of a filter pressed, tape pressed or centrifuged wet cake and a flow of a solution of a dispersant carrier in a turbo-mixer, centrifuging such flows against the inner wall of said turbo-mixer, with the formation of a dye paste arranged in a thin and dynamic layer; drying the dye paste obtaining said dry master batch, which is particularly suited for the preparation of inks and paints or for the pigmentation of plastic materials.
Abstract: A method of producing elastomers or elastomeric mixtures, in which independent flows of N.sub.2, of a solution of elastomers in organic solvents and, possibly, of forming and nucleation additives, are processed mechanically and thermally in a turbo-drier so as to produce elastomers or elastomeric mixtures, respectively, in solvent-free, granulated form.
