Abstract: In a cosmetic unit, in particular a mascara unit, having a reservoir for a cosmetic and a cap to be screwed on this reservoir. The package is made attractive from an esthetic point of view by making the color of the product contained in the reservoir easily visible to the consumer. The cap has a hollow interior which is open upwards. The end face which defines the opening of the cap is diagonal to the lower end face of the cap and the opening interior of the cap has a color coating.

Abstract: In a hair coloring or cosmetic unit, in particular mascara unit, comprising a receptacle for liquid take-up, which has a basic body and a neck of tapered diameter as compared to the basic body, and a closing cap to be placed on the neck, a rod with an applicator being fixable on the inside of the closing cap, and a stripper being provided in the vicinity of the neck for the applicator to be stripped upon withdrawal from the receptacle, it is provided that the applicator is connectable to the rod or the rod to the closing cap by the user, after the user has selected a preferred applicator or rod from a plurality of available samples thereof, and that the filled receptacle comprises a special closing and sealing device without a rod or an applicator.

Abstract: In a mascara unit comprising an applicator fixed to a holder and a reservoir for mascara, the applicator dipping into the reservoir in the condition of non-use and transport and being movable out of the reservoir for the application of mascara, it is provided that the applicator and the reservoir are designed as a unit so that the applicator can be moved out of and into the reservoir through actuation by one hand.

Abstract: In a coloring cosmetic unit, in particular a mascara unit, comprising a receptacle for the coloring cosmetic and a screw cap which can be screwed on an external thread of the receptacle neck and on which a handle with an applicator is mounted, it is provided, with a view to improving the properties of handling and use of such a coloring cosmetic unit, in particular to attaining optimal opening and closing properties, produceability by injection or blow molding at a low cost being nevertheless ensured, that the thread on the receptacle neck has a pitch greater than 2 mm, in particular approximately 3 mm.

Abstract: In a brush, in particular for coloring eyelashes or hair, comprising a stem and a number of bristles standing out essentially radially therefrom, the stem being formed by a first leg of a tweezers- or scissors-like arrangement, and a second leg of this arrangement having, at its free end, an abutment for the bristles of the first leg such that in operation, the free outer ends of the two legs enclose between them the eyelashes or hair to be treated. Abstract: In an interdental cleaning device comprising a brush and a holder, the brush being pivotably and replaceably disposed on the free end of the holder, and the holder consisting of two shells, it is provided with a view to advantageous pivotablility of the brush and defined stop positions being attained, accompanied with simple implementation in terms of plastics technology, that the brush comprises a ball of a ball and socket joint and that a socket of a ball and socket joint is formed by two socket members to be assembled and disassembled, one socket member at a time being formed on an end of a shell.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a container with a screwed cap for nail varnish and liquid mascara having a closed position of the screwed cap in relation to the container defined by at least one end stop and a cover rotatably fitted on the screwed cap. The container and screwed cap further have a peripheral annular shoulder (22) with a thread-like pitch formed on the outer surface of the screwed cap at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the screwed cap to produce a stop shoulder (27) on a transition region between a beginning (25) and an end (26) of the annular shoulder (22). A guide slot extends downwards from the stop shoulder (27) and aligns therewith. A guide rib having a width corresponding to a width of the guide slot (28) formed on the inner wall of the cover (7) and runs parallel to longitudinal axes (16, 17) of the screwed cap and the cover for engagement in the guide slot.

Abstract: A mascara applicator includes a receptacle, a pre-stripper and an end stripper, wherein the pre-stripper is associated with a brush and the end stripper is associated with a shaft. The shaft in turn is fixed to the brush and a screw cap. In the screwed-in position, the shaft is simultaneously grasped by segments of the pre-stripper and by stripper lips of the end stripper. Also, the pre-stripper has radially elastic segments which can pivot around a pivoting edge and which have slits which can be changed in width whereby radial forces can be transmitted to the segments by means of a spring loop.
