    Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling device for a tube comprising a sleeve part having at least one insert end for the tube and a sealing part suitable to provide a seal around the tube inserted into the sleeve part. The sealing organ comprises a plurality of substantially identical, slidably abutting elements which form part of a substantially closed ring. The elements increase radially in thickness. Furthermore pressure means are provided for pressing the elements against the tube.
