    Abstract: A two-piece body type fishing lure has upper and lower parts that are held together by a dovetail-type sliding joint. The dovetail can be wider at the rear and narrower towards the front so that the upper part can be removed only be sliding it forward. The color and pattern of the lure can be changed by interchanging various top portions with a common lower portion, which need not be removed from the line in order to change the upper portion.
