  • Patent number: 11827554
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing glassware, in particular rotationally symmetrical glassware, such as a glass syringe, a glass carpule, a glass vial or a glass ampule, wherein the method comprises the steps of rotating a glass intermediate, in particular a glass tube, with a receptacle rotational speed about a receptacle rotational axis, rotating at least one forming roller with a roller rotational speed about a roller rotational axis, and displacing the at least one forming roller and the glass intermediate for shaping in a forming roller contact, from which the receptacle rotational axis is spaced in a radial direction about an intermediate radius and from which the roller rotational axis is spaced in a radial direction about a roller radius, wherein the ratio of the roller rotational speed to the receptacle rotational speed during the method is controlled as a function of the ratio of intermediate radius to roller radius.

  • Patent number: 10981822
Abstract: A device for producing a high-purity medical glass container from a hollow cylindrical glass blank extending along an axial direction (X) and having at least one open end, wherein the glass blank has a mouldable moulded section extending in the axial direction (X) from the open end. The device comprises a first moulding tool and a second moulding tool, where the first moulding tool has a moulding pin. The moulding pin can be moved via the open end of the hollow cylindrical glass blank in the moulded section thereof along the axial direction (X), wherein the moulding pin is fixed in a fixing unit of the first moulding tool. The moulded section can be deformed by the second moulding tool in such a way that an inner surface of the moulded section is in contact with the moulding pin, whereby the moulded section forms a channel.

  • Patent number: 10953431
Abstract: A coating method is provided, in which at least one emulsion and/or one solution is applied at least to a first partial area of a surface of a component, said emulsion and/or solution containing at least one layer-forming substance, and then the component is heat-treated, wherein at least one second partial area of the first partial area is subsequently exposed to a plasma, wherein the carbon content of the coating decreases to less than about 80% or less than about 75% or less than about 70% or less than about 60% of the initial value prior to the plasma treatment. A workpiece and a method for the production thereof is provided.

  • Patent number: 10537688
Abstract: A syringe member comprising a safety device to prevent pricking injuries; the syringe member comprises a pricking element, and the safety device includes at least one guided pin and a recess which forms a guide slot for guiding the guided pin in a longitudinal direction of the syringe member during movement of the syringe member relative to the safety device; said guide slot includes a first slot region and a second slot region which are separated by a notional separation line extending in a longitudinal direction of the syringe member; the guided pin can be placed in the first slot region in a starting position and can be moved from the first slot region into the second slot region into a final position by having the guided pin cross the separation line when a distal end of the pricking element is located at the level of an exit opening of the safety device.

  • Patent number: 7404278
Abstract: A method for producing prefillable syringes includes the steps of producing syringe bodies with a cylindrical drum portion which has a first open end for receiving a syringe plunger and has a second open end for discharging of contents. An inner surface of each syringe body is then cleaned. Siliconization is then performed by applying a quantity of silicone oil or silicone emulsion to at least a partial area of the inner surface of each syringe body. Some of the applied quantity of silicone is then removed. Finally, the syringe bodies are packaged. The siliconization, removing and packaging steps are all carried out under controlled clean-room conditions.
