    Abstract: An element capable of extracting trace amount of organic components, the organic components being measured by GC or the like using the element. In the present invention, an element for extracting organic components comprising at least one polymer selected from polyethylene glycol, silicone, polyimide, octadecyltrichlorosilane, polymethylvinylchlorosilane and polyacrylate. The polymer is swelled with at least one solvent selected from dichloromethane, chloroform, diethyl ether, ethyl propyl ether, diisopropyl ether, dipropyl ether, methyl tert-butyl ether, diethyl ketone, methyl propyl ketone, methyl isopropyl ketone, ethyl propyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, pentane, isohexane, hexane, cyclohexane, heptane, isoheptane, isooctaine, octane, carbon disulfide, diisopropylamine, triethylamine, benzene, toluene and xylene.
