Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a casing, a circuit board module, a display module and a fastening unit. The casing has spaced-apart horizontal top and bottom walls, each of which has parallel front and rear edges and parallel lateral edges, and a vertical surrounding wall interconnecting the front edges and the lateral edges of the top and bottom walls. The top and bottom walls and the surrounding wall cooperatively confine a receiving space with a rear opening formed between the rear edges of the top and bottom walls. The circuit board module includes a main circuit board with front and rear edges, and a mounting frame mounted on the rear edge of the main circuit board. The main circuit board is inserted into the receiving space in the casing via the rear opening such that the mounting frame is disposed to close the rear opening.
Abstract: A data storage apparatus includes a data storage device and a buffer frame. The data storage device has a housing with an outer surface. The buffer frame includes a casing and an elastomeric cushioning unit. The casing has a surrounding wall that surrounds the housing of the data storage device. The surrounding wall has an inner surface that forms a clearance with the outer surface of the housing. The cushioning unit is attached on the outer surface of the housing of the data storage device. The cushioning unit is disposed in the clearance, and is in tight contact with the inner surface of the surrounding wall of the casing for positioning the data storage device in the casing.
Abstract: An impact protecting modular block includes an anchoring portion adapted to be secured on a corner of an industrial computer, and an abutment portion integrally formed with and extending transverse to the anchoring portion and adapted to abut against a surrounding wall of the industrial computer. The anchoring portion of a first modular block can be stacked upon and can be secured on the anchoring portion of a second modular block so as to permit the abutment portion of the first modular block to abut against the abutment portion of the second modular block, thereby raising rear corners of the base body relative to front corners of the base body of the industrial computer for convenient operation.
Abstract: A data processing apparatus having a liquid heat-dissipating system includes a central processing unit (CPU), a housing to receive the CPU, and a heat conductive member. The housing has a top wall and a top opening in the wall immediately above the CPU. The heat conductive member is mounted on the wall to cover the opening and to transfer heat produced by the CPU from an inside of the housing to an outside of the housing, and has a receiving cavity adapted for receiving a cooling liquid.
Abstract: A keyboard housing includes a key plate with a plurality of actuator keys mounted on an upper face and a waterproof chamber mounted on a lower face thereof and a device to retain the actuator keys in a normally unpressed position. A circuit board is disposed in the waterproof chamber. A switch contact assembly mounted on the lower face of the key plate which includes a first membrane having a first conductive pattern, a second membrane having a second conductive pattern and a partition membrane disposed between the first and second membranes to separate the first conductive pattern from the second conductive pattern in a normal open switch. The partition membrane includes a hole device which permits a portion of the first conductive pattern to engage with a portion of the second conductive pattern when the first membrane is pressed by one of the actuator keys, thereby generating a signal corresponding to the pressing key.
