    Abstract: A radio frequency identification (RFID) communication system and method is provided to resolve the power-consuming problems of an active RFID tag while operating at a receiving mode in a long duration. A designated channel is established between the reader and the RFID tag, and also the reader sends a designated message so that the actuated active RFID tag can receive the designated messages and dynamically enter into a receiving mode. Therefore, normal communications may be conducted between the reader and the RFID and the usage period or technical performance can be improved as well.

    Abstract: A forming method for a heat dissipating structure is provided. According to the method, an extrudate is formed by extrution molding, wherein the extrudate includes protruding bending portions extending in parallel. Fins are extruded monolithically on the bending portions. One or more cut channels are formed by cutting the fins and the extrudate with a cutting tool. The cutting tool cuts the fins for forming a notch on each fin at first, and then cuts the bending portions for forming a cut-through slot on each bending portion, wherein each cut-through slot is formed for cooling air flowing through two side of the extrudate. By cutting the bending portions and the fins by the cutting tool at the same time, a large number of cut-through slots are formed in despite of the existence of the fins, and the performance of heat dissipation is enhanced.

    Abstract: An antistatic device with multiple discharging intervals is applied to electrical components for providing an optimized protection against ESD (Electrostatic Discharge). The antistatic device includes a trace, a discharging portion and multiple grounding portions. The trace allows electrostatic current to pass through. The discharging portion is coupled to the trace. The grounding portions are placed around the discharging portion. A discharge interval between each of the grounding portions and the discharging portion allows the electrostatic current to be discharged through any of the grounding portions. Each of the discharging intervals is equidistant to facilitate equal discharge probabilities.

    Abstract: An adaptor device is provided for connecting and accessing data cards of various specifications and includes a data card insertion structure, a cover board, and a carrier board. The data card insertion structure forms at least one first insertion slot for the insertion of the carrier board. The carrier board forms at least one data card carrying section for carrying at least one selected data card. The cover board is mounted to a top surface of the data card insertion structure. An underside of the cover board is provided, at a predetermined position, with at least one set of signal contact elements. When the carrier board is inserted in the first insertion slot, a signal contact section of the data card is electrically connectable with the signal contact elements of the cover board for direct output through a signal connection port of the cover board or for output to a computer device via a signal connection port of the data card insertion structure.

    Abstract: A method of fast switching control for different operation systems operated in computer is provided, including installing a first operating system, a second operating system and a second operating system kernel program in a hard disk of the computer. An event signal generation unit is connected to the computer. When the computer completes the booting process, the first operating system is loaded and executed, the second operating system kernel program memory region is established in a system memory, and the second operating system kernel program is loaded into the second operating system kernel program memory region. When the computer detects that a preset event signal is generated from the event signal generation unit, the second operation system kernel program preloaded in the second operating system kernel program memory region is executed, so that the computer is switched from executing the first operation system to executing the second operation system.
