Abstract: Glass-grinding machine for machining the edges of glass panes, particularly vehicle panes, constructional glass and furniture glass, with a turntable arranged with a vertical turning axis and exhibiting a clamping device for the positioned anchorage of each respective glass pane to be machined, with at least one grinding wheel arranged near the turntable circumference with a vertical axis of rotation, the relative position of which, with respect to the turntable axis, is automatically adjustable in conformity with the contour of the glass pane to be machined as a function of the turning position of the turntable, and with a charging device and a discharging device for the glass panes to be machined and having been machined respectively, characterized in that the grinding wheel (24, 26) is movable under numerical control as a function of the turntable position at least along an axis directed towards the turning axis (12) of the turntable (10).
