Abstract: A method and a device for assembling a triple insulating glass pane containing two outer glasses and a thin glass between them is disclosed. A standing thin glass is conveyed into a first pressing station. A first flexible spacer strand is applied to a first outer glass, which is then joined to the thin glass in the first pressing station. A second flexible spacer strand is applied to the second outer glass. The glass assembly is conveyed upstandingly to a turning station, where it is turned about an upstanding axis of rotation. After turning, the glass assembly is conveyed upstandingly from the rotation station into a second pressing station. The second outer glass is conveyed upstandingly through the first pressing station and the rotation station into the second pressing station. Then, the glass assembly and the second outer glass are joined together to form a triple insulating glass pane.
Abstract: A hanging register storage unit for a bending machine for spacer frames of insulating glass panes includes: a plurality of hanging registers which each have a storage site for a stack of unbent spacer profiles; a storage station having a plurality of receiving sites for in each case one of the hanging registers; a removal station having at least one receiving site for one of the hanging registers; and a conveyor device for transporting hanging registers between the receiving sites of the storage station and the receiving site of the removal station.
Abstract: An insulating glass pane includes at least two glass plates, a frame-shaped spacer made of a synthetic-based material and a muntin bar insert attached to the spacer. The spacer and the muntin bar insert are located between the two glass plates. The insulating glass pane contains at least one pair of magnets being two magnets which cooperate to position and hold the muntin bar insert in the insulating glass pane.
Abstract: A conveying device for conveying a pasty mass in the manufacture of insulating glass includes a carrier for a cylindrical container with pasty mass. A follow-up plate is arranged above the carrier and is vertically displaceable for placing on the pasty mass. A conveyor line is connected to the follow-up plate for further transport of the pasty mass. The follow-up plate has an underside and at least an outlet opening arranged in the follow-up plate for connection with the conveyor line. On the underside several downwardly projecting projections are arranged around the outlet opening which are configured to be immersed in the pasty mass. At least one of the projections is formed as a rib extending radially outwards along the underside of the follow-up plate.
Abstract: A method for forming a closed frame-shaped spacer for an insulating glass pane by applying a paste-like and subsequently hardening strand has at a beginning of the strand a ramp in which the thickness of the strand increases from zero to a nominal thickness. An end of the strand's thickness is complementary to the rising ramp on the same path, overlapping the ramp, decreasing from the target thickness to zero, the surface of the ramp forming an interface between the beginning and the end of the strand. The beginning and end of the strand are pressurized on either side by placing it between a first jaw and a second jaw. The exerting surface of the first jaw has a property enabling the material of the strand which comes into contact with the surface of the first jaw to be removed therefrom by lifting the first jaw from the strand.
Abstract: A method and device for assembling an insulating glass panel includes: a horizontal conveyor and primer station for applying a strip-like primer along a standing glass sheet edge; a horizontal conveyor and TPS station for applying a paste-like TPS strand, that subsequently solidifies, onto a standing glass sheet edge; a rotation station for rotating glass sheets arranged downstream of the TPS station having a horizontal conveyor rotatable about a vertical axis of rotation; a pressing station for joining the glass sheets together including two parallel horizontal conveyors; and a controller for directing two glass sheets supplied to the rotation station one after another into the pressing station by rotating one of the glass sheets and for joining same in said pressing station to form the insulating glass panel. One glass sheet has a primer strip and TPS strand and the other has a primer strip.
