The composition includes zoxamide, optionally in combination with one or more additional active ingredients selected from the group consisting of strobilurins and/or triazole compounds. The phytopathogenic fungi are selected from P. pachyrhizi or P. meibomiae. The zoxamide is applied in an amount of about 10 g/ha to about 2000 g/ha.
