  • Patent number: 10251443
Abstract: A device for three-dimensional foot motion control and plantar pressure redistribution, for controlling relative motions of foot joints effectively by modifying heel strike angles and adjusting relative plantar pressures of a foot is disclosed. It includes an arch supporting main body, for supporting medial longitudinal arch, transverse arch and lateral longitudinal arch of the foot, a rear end having at least one lateral side extending corresponding to the location of calcaneus of the foot; wherein the arch supporting main body is a three-dimensional structure formed by curvatures of the medial longitudinal arch, the transverse arch and the lateral longitudinal arch collaboratively, and a hindfoot motion adjustment portion for modifying heel strike angles.

  • Patent number: 9592423
Abstract: A measuring system for analyzing a knee joint motion trajectory when a rider is riding a bike (cycling) and a measuring method thereof are disclosed. The measuring system includes a pedal-able device, a light emitting component fixed at a tibial plateau of the rider, an image capturing device, and a knee joint motion trajectory analysis device. When the rider continuously pedals the pedal-able device, the image capturing device captures an image of a central position of the rider's lower limb and a light spot trajectory image of the light emitting component. The motion trajectory analysis device generates an ellipse motion trajectory diagram. After comparing and analyzing a body central line with a trajectory long axis line, a foot force distribution and a shifting data of the knee joint motion trajectory is acquired, and a proper insole is determined.

  • Patent number: 8914996
Abstract: An antistatic insole is disclosed, which consists of one cover layer, one first layer body, one second layer body, one arch pad, and one heel pad. The insole is assembled with a cover layer on the surface of the first layer body and the second layer body below the first layer body and the heel pad and the arch pad are below the second layer body. The elasticity of the heel pad is more elastic and the arch pad less elastic than the first layer body. The contour of the surface of the first layer body follows that of the foot arch of a human body and acts coherently with that of the second layer body. The cover layer, the first layer body, and the second layer body are antistatic. The arch pad is equipped with antistatic and anti-fatigue functions according to various arch shapes of a human foot.

  • Patent number: 8567080
Abstract: The invention provides a method of measuring and identifying foot arch type according to footprint data. The method includes: obtaining a static standing footprint having a foot contour including lateral and medial contours; obtaining a lateral ball and lateral heel tangent points of the footprint, and a medial ball and a medial heel tangent point of the footprint; obtaining a ball and a heel mid-point; obtaining a foot center axial line and a foot perpendicular bisector; obtaining the length of a foot width Lf as the length of the foot perpendicular bisector, and the width a foot arch La; and calculating a foot type index FTI by dividing the width of the foot arch La by the length of the foot width Lf (FTI=La/Lf), and identifying a foot arch type of the footprint by the foot type index FTI.
