  • Publication number: 20220353178
Abstract: According to the present invention, programs that use signals, such as multi-media signals, received over communication channels from one or more sources are produced in a computing system by executing an application software in one or more servers of the computing system. At least one of the servers has one or more processors that process defined logical entities. A signal used in production of a program is received from a source over a communication channel at a server. An input logical entity having attributes associated with the source of the signal is defined such that the input logical entity is responsive to a user defined predicate comprising a logical expression for accepting or rejecting the signal. Also defined are a stream logical entity that identifies an accepted signal and a routing logical entity that establishes a connection between the stream logical entity and a destination. The accepted signal is routed to the destination based on a routing rule.

  • Patent number: 11115395
Abstract: A cross-domain information transfer system includes a key distribution center that generates private encryption keys and a signature key pair as a secret signing and secret verifying key for an attribute associated with a given domain. A sender device generates ciphertext from plaintext based upon the private encryption key, appends an attribute for a given domain to the ciphertext, generates ciphertext with a concealed attribute based upon the secret signing key and broadcasts the ciphertext with the concealed attribute. Domain gateway devices each receive a respective secret verifying key for an associated attribute, receive the ciphertext with the concealed attribute from the untrusted network, and use the secret verifying key to determine if the concealed attribute matches the attribute associated with the domain gateway device, and, when so, pass the ciphertext to at least one receiver device coupled with the domain gateway device.

  • Patent number: 10735007
Abstract: Limiting frequency overshoot in a timing recovery loop involves using a proportional-integral (PI) control system to discipline a frequency of an output signal of a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) in accordance with a time reference signal. A control signal output of the PI control system is monitored to detect conditions which will prospectively cause an excess deviation of the VCO frequency. In response to detecting such a condition, an output of an integral error term generator of the PI control system is locked or held constant. This will have the effect of preventing the excess frequency deviation of the VCO.
