Abstract: An antenna assembly for use particularly where relatively rapid deployment and/or disassembly of the same is required thereby making the same available to be used at a location quickly. The assembly includes a hub to which are movably mounted a bracket for attachment of an antenna, which may comprise a plurality of parts, and support legs which are movable between in use and storage positions. First and second adjustments for the azimuth and elevation of the antenna are provided for use when the antenna, bracket and support legs are in the in-use position.

Abstract: There is provided an apparatus and a method for the receipt and processing of data signals carried in a plurality of predefined frequency bands and allowing a frequency band required at an instant of time to be selected from the predefined frequency bands from which data is to be retrieved. Passing the data signals from the wanted band to a transmitter and/or receiver including first and second mixing means to process the data signals, typically using in-phase and quadrative data feeds to create a predefined representation of the wanted frequency band, to provide an output for receipt by at least one broadcast data receiver and at least the transmitter and/or receiver is provided as part of an integrated circuit rather than as separate connected components.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system, apparatus and method for the distribution of digital data signals, which are received at a receiving means, to be sent to a plurality of locations downstream therefrom, in an efficient manner. The received data is received in a first format such as an RF format with a plurality of different components and is then changed in format, in one embodiment to an optical format. The data path is also split to allow a plurality of data paths to be defined which allow the data to be transmitted along the plurality of data paths to each of the downstream locations.
Abstract: Apparatus and a system is provided to allow the distribution of received data to a number of data processing apparatus and to make selected portions of the data available to each of the data processing apparatus in response to a user selection. The method and apparatus allow the distribution of the HDMI data to be achieved in a robust and reliable manner via a plurality of diplexer apparatus.
