Abstract: A front light module includes a light guide sheet and a light bar. The light guide sheet has two light receiving laterals, a fold line, a first pattern area, and a second pattern area respectively located on two sides of the fold line. One light receiving lateral is protruded to form first taper sets, and the other is protruded to form second taper sets. The second pattern area is superimposed on the first pattern area, and the first and second tapers set are engaged and coplanar to form a light incident surface after folding along the fold line. The light bar provides light toward the light incident surface, the first pattern area is lit by the odd positions of the light bar via the first taper sets, and the second pattern area is lit by the even positions of the light bar via the second taper sets.

Abstract: A light guide plate provided for a luminous keyboard is disclosed. The light guide plate includes a main body, a first bump pair, a second bump pair, and many microstructure patterns. The main body has a light output surface and many press button installation areas defined thereon, each of the press button installation areas is arranged to fix a press key structure. The first bump pair and the second bump pair are integrally and seamlessly protruded from the main body. Each of the first bump pair has a first recess, and each of the second bump pair has a second recess. The first recess and the second recess are configured opposite to each other, and provided for assembling the press key structure. The microstructure patterns are formed next to the first and second bump pairs to abstract light by destructing the total reflection in the main body.

Abstract: A touch-sensitive light guide film has an emitting layer, a light guiding layer, a flexible transparent layer and a light source. The emitting layer has a first circuit. The light guiding layer located on one side of the emitting layer has a second circuit and a receiving space. The receiving space is concavely or thoroughly disposed on the light guiding layer. The flexible transparent layer disposed between the emitting layer and the light guiding layer, has a through hole and a receiving hole. The through hole is relative in position to the first circuit and the second circuit, and in the through hole, the first circuit and the second circuit may contact when the flexible transparent layer is compressed. The light source is disposed on the emitting layer and penetrating the receiving hole and protruding into the receiving space.

Abstract: A light guide plate and assembly thereof are disclosed. The light guide plate includes a base plate, an optical pattern on the bottom surface of the base plate, a first circuit and a second circuit on the top surface of the base plate. As a front light module, the first circuit is designed to be light penetrable at the visual area of the base plate as a touch sensing circuit, and the second circuit is surrounding and electrically connected the first circuit. The front light module achieves the thickness reduction of a mobile device having a reflective type panel. As a back light module, the first circuit and the second circuit are arranged in two adjacent blocks on the top surface of the base plate without electrically connecting to each other. The back light module may be applied to perform a local dimming technology by adapting an extra low resolution panel.

Abstract: A light guide plate for a large-size backlight module, and the light guide plate includes a light guide body and a glossy lens array. The light guide body includes a light incident surface for receiving light. The glossy lens array is formed on said light incident surface by thermal reforming a lateral terminal of said light guide body. Said glossy lens array includes a plurality of curvy ridges and the radius of curvature of each of said curvy ridges ranges from 20 ?m to 50 ?m, and the angle between two tilted edges of each of said curvy ridges ranges from 50 to 60 degrees, whereby said glossy lens array enables said large-size backlight module to be produced in a roll-to-roll production line without burr issue.

Sheet materials are provided. Each sheet material includes an opening corresponding to the protrusion, a first surface and a circuit layer disposed on the first surface. One of the sheet materials is disposed on the first mold with first surface facing the first mold. The first mold and the second mold are closed. An optical plastic material is injected into the space between the first and second molding surfaces to form a light guide plate having a via corresponding to the protrusion for embedding a light source. The sheet material is laminated on the light guide plate.
