  • Patent number: 11881031
Abstract: This document describes methods to assign a collective state to a group of traffic signal devices that are concurrently detected by multiple cameras. The states may be color states or other states. The system will process the images to identify states of each of the devices in the images. When the devices exhibit more than one state, the system will determine an overall state for the group by generating a confidence score for each of the states. The system will select, from the multiple states, the state having a confidence score that exceeds a threshold. The system will then use the selected state to assign an overall state to the group of traffic signal devices. The system may use the overall state to generate a signal that will cause the vehicle to perform an action such as a motion control action, or output of an audible or visual alert.

  • Patent number: 11879727
Abstract: A workstation for measuring dimensions includes an operator zone, a first fixture, a second fixture, a component delivery device, a gauge, and a collaborative robot. The second fixture is accessible to an operator in the operator zone. A component delivery device deposits a first component onto the first fixture. The envelope of the component delivery device is not accessible by the operator in the operator zone. The collaborative robot supports the gauge tool and has a range of motion capable of measuring the first component on the first fixture and a second component on the second fixture. A control module is in communication with the gauge and the collaborative robot and operates the collaborative robot to measure the first component on the first fixture and the second component on the second fixture.

  • Patent number: 11878654
Abstract: A system for a vehicle includes a rear gate assembly of the vehicle that includes a closure panel operable to pivot vehicle-downward from a closed position to an open position. The system also includes a support feature coupled to the closure panel and operable to move relative to the closure panel between a retracted position and a deployed position. In the open position of the closure panel, the position of the support feature in the deployed position is further vehicle-downward than the position of the support feature in the retracted position. The system also includes a sensing system of the vehicle that detects a living being proximate to the rear gate assembly. The system further includes a controller that authenticates an identity and determines a position of the living being based on data received from the sensing system and prompts movement of the support feature from the retracted position to the deployed position based on the authenticated identity and determined position of the living being.
