Abstract: Authenticating a mobile user device with a mobile network operator in advance of an MNO authentication request from the mobile user device can be done by a satellite network sending an authentication request to the MNO system, obtaining a set of authentication vectors related to the mobile user device, storing them into a proxy home location register, receiving the MNO authentication request from the mobile user device, generating an authentication request response based on the authentication vectors, sending the authentication request response to the mobile user device, receiving an authentication response including a received signed response, comparing the received signed response with the stored signed response, and if the received signed response and stored signed response match, deem that to be a successful authentication, add an MNO location update message to a request queue and forward the MNO location update message to the MNO system over the channel when available.

Abstract: A mobile oxygen point of use apparatus includes a standalone and portable mounting panel having a first side and a second side and is configured to be portably relocated within a facility by at least one human operator. Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods in pulsed arc welding. A robotic welding system, having a welding torch with a contact tip, is configured to perform the following method: (a) generate and output a series of a determined number of welding output pulses as a welding wire electrode is fed toward a workpiece; (b) stop generating welding output pulses while allowing the welding wire electrode to continue to be fed toward the workpiece in an attempt to electrically short to the workpiece; (c) attempt to confirm that the welding wire electrode has electrically shorted to the workpiece within a determined error time period; and (d) repeat steps (a) through (c) if electrical shorting of the welding wire electrode has been confirmed within the determined error time period, else, shut down the robotic welding system to avoid damaging the welding torch.
Abstract: A conical shaped bicycle cassette has a unitary sprocket assembly. Each annular portion of an individual sprocket is mechanically supported either from a back of the sprocket, in an axial direction toward a bicycle hub or from an inner radial direction toward a centerline axis of the bicycle cassette and hub. The axial support zones and radial support zones are alternated around a circumference of the sprocket so that an entirety of the sprocket is supported in either the axial direction or the radial direction. In this way, the chain driving loads on the cassette are spread throughout the entire cassette and the areas of highly localized stress from the cassette are removed.
Abstract: A welding system includes a power supply configured to generate a welding waveform. A wire feeder conducts the welding waveform to a wire electrode, and includes a drive motor that drives the wire electrode bidirectionally, a motor current sensor that senses a current level of the motor, and a controller that receives a current level signal from the motor current sensor and controls operations of the motor. A welding current sensor senses welding current level, and a welding voltage sensor senses welding voltage level, and the sensors are located with the power supply or the wire feeder. The controller is configured to determine a contact event between the wire electrode and a non-workpiece object based on the current level signal from the motor current sensor and one or both of the welding current level and the welding voltage level, and automatically retract the wire electrode upon determining the contact event.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for performing a digital currency escrow swap on a network of nodes is disclosed. The method includes placing transfer orders through an intermediate node and sending signed transfer order transactions with digital wallets to an escrow swap node. The method further includes performing a transfer-in order finishing operation by requesting a transfer of digital currency to the escrow swap node and receiving the digital currency via the transfer-in node. For each sell order, digital securities are transferred to the escrow swap node via the transfer-out node. The digital securities are sent from the escrow swap node. For each transfer-out order, the digital currency is sent to the transfer-out node. The method includes an analogous operation to finish a transfer-out order.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for performing a token escrow swap on a network of nodes is disclosed herein. The method includes performing a buy operation including receiving an indication of a buy order placed by a buyer node through a broker-dealer node. The indication of the buy order includes attributes of the buy order. The method further includes creating an unsigned token allowance transaction for the buy order and an unsigned buy order transaction and sending the unsigned token allowance transaction for the buy order and the unsigned buy order transaction to the broker-dealer node. Doing so enables signing the unsigned token allowance transaction for the buy order by the buyer node and signing the unsigned buy order transaction by the broker-dealer node for a token escrow swap node.
