Abstract: A protein-binding product comprising one or more porous polymer beads, wherein at least one ligand is bound to the surfaces of said polymer beads via a spacer (R), and wherein said at least one ligand is Gal?1-3HexNAc?—O—, Gal?1-4GlcNAc?—O— and/or a derivative thereof, is disclosed as well as a device containing said protein-binding product and a method for reduction of the level of at least one galactose-binding protein and optionally at least one other protein in human blood plasma.
Abstract: A Product is described and which contains at least one type of ligand bound to a separation material and which allows selective binding or cleavage of a biomolecule for example in human blood.
Abstract: Apparatus for contacting body fluids with the bio-affinity material is disclosed. The apparatus includes a container having top and bottom lock covers that clip onto the container.
Abstract: A reagent for conjugation to a biomolecule, wherein the reagent is a single molecule with at least three functional parts and has schematic structure (I): a) wherein a trifunctional cross-linking moiety is coupled to b) an affinity ligand via a linker 1, said affinity ligand being capable of binding with another molecule having affinity for said ligand, to c) an effector agent, optionally via a linker 2, said effector agent exerting its effect on cells, tissues and/or humorous molecules in vivo or ex vivo, and to d) a biomolecule reactive moiety, optionally via a linker 3, said moiety being capable of forming a bond between the reagent and the biomolecule.

Abstract: Material characterized by that the material contains at least one biologically active di- or trisaccharide or higher oligosaccharide which is covalently bound via a spacer to cross-linked agarose.
Abstract: Bio-affinity material containing at least one biologically active saccharide which is covalently bound via at least one spacer to a cross-linked matrix and that the material is autoclaved. Apparatus for contacting body fluids with the bio-affinity material is disclosed.
