    Abstract: A method increases fidelity of a lane localization function aboard a motor vehicle by receiving input signals indicative of a relative position of the vehicle with respect to a roadway. The input signals include GPS and geocoded mapping data, and an electronic turn signal indicative of activation of the turn signal lever. Sensor-specific lane probability distributions are calculated via the lane localization function using the input signals. The various distributions are fused via the localization function to generate a host lane assignment. The host lane assignment corresponds to a lane of the roadway having a highest probability among a set of possible lane assignments. An autonomous steering control action is performed aboard the motor vehicle using an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in response to the host lane assignment. A motor vehicle has a controller that performs the method, e.g., by executing instructions from computer-readable media.

The detector is configured to store multiple wake-up phrases that are recognizable by multiple voice-activated assistants, search the sampled audio to determine multiple probabilities that the sampled audio includes the wake-up phrases, select a particular wake-up phrase that has a highest probability among the probabilities, and send a callback to the particular voice-activated assistant that the particular wake-up phrase has been detected. The sampled audio that is transferred to the particular voice-activated assistant includes the particular wake-up phrase that was detected.

The decider modules generate trajectory decisions at a current time, generate a current two-dimensional slice of a flat space around the ego vehicle, generate future two-dimensional slices of the flat space by projecting the current two-dimensional slice of the flat space forward in time, and generate a three-dimensional state space by stacking the current two-dimensional slice and the future two-dimensional slices. The grader module generates rewards for the trajectory decisions based on a recent behavior of an ego vehicle. The resolver module selects a final trajectory decision for the ego vehicle from the trajectory decisions based on the three-dimensional state space and the rewards. The current two-dimensional slice includes a current ego vehicle location and current neighboring vehicle locations. The future two-dimensional slices include future ego vehicle locations and future neighboring vehicle locations.

A method of manufacturing the electric motor assembly includes disposing a stator within a housing such that a gap is defined between the stator and the housing and the stator is not directly connected to the housing, and substantially filling the gap with a polymer capable of fastening the stator to the housing by only the polymer.
