Abstract: A device for finishing a workpiece includes two pressing elements and a holding apparatus for holding the pressing elements. A finishing band is pressable against a workpiece surface to be finished. A flexurally resilient intermediate element is disposed so as to transmit a pressing force to the finishing band by means of a force-receiving surface and by means of a force-transmitting surface. The intermediate element or a plurality of them is configured to transmit pressing forces, which are offset relative to one another in a circumferential direction of the workpiece surface, to the finishing band. The force-transmitting surfaces of the intermediate element or the plurality of them are oriented in a substantially V-shaped manner relative to one another, and are substantially planar in an undeformed initial state and have a curvature in a same direction as the workpiece surface when there is a pressing force.
Abstract: A fan, in particular an axial fan, comprising a support element with a wall ring and an electric fan motor which is mounted in the wall ring and comprises a fan rotor. The wall ring has on its outer periphery a hinge consisting of a first hinge part that is connected to the wall ring and a second hinge part that can be pivoted about a hinge axis relative to the first hinge part, wherein the second hinge part is designed as a terminal box for receiving electrical connectors. The invention further relates to a support element for such a fan.

Abstract: A sliding assembly includes two pull-out guides which can be secured to opposite side walls and each of which includes a stationary guide rail, a middle rail movably mounted on the guide rail, and a running rail movably mounted on the middle rail. A first slidable element is retained on the two running rails of the two pull-out guides, and a second slidable element is retained on the two middle rails of the two pull-out guides. By moving one slidable element, the other slidable element can also be moved.
Abstract: A method for reducing a locally increased viscosity of ink in an ink print head of an ink printer during printing operation includes: a determination of a printing pause with the aid of a pixel preview; an application of a first sequence of pulses for measurement of the activation current of a piezoelement of the ink print head; and an application of a second sequence of pulses for vibration of the ink meniscus at the exit of a nozzle if the ink print head to intermix the ink having locally increased viscosity with ink having the initial viscosity given a threatened failure of the nozzle.
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a pharmaceutical composition in combination with a tube food provided for artificial feeding in the treatment of digestive disorders in case of artificial feeding, where the pharmaceutical composition contains or consists of at least one digestive enzyme, preferably a lipase, particularly preferably a bacterial lipase, most preferably burlulipase (INN) in liquid dosage form, wherein the pharmaceutical composition and the tube food are formulated for being administered simultaneously but separately from each other. The pharmaceutical composition can therefore be administered simultaneously and continuously during the administration of the tube food, but separately from it. As a result, the digestive performance of a patient being artificially fed can be enhanced significantly.
Abstract: The invention relates to a reflective composite material (V) having a carrier (1) consisting of aluminum, having an interlayer (2) which is present on a side (A) on the carrier (1) and is composed of a varnish, and having an optically active multilayer system (3) which has been applied atop the interlayer (2) and consists of at least three layers, wherein the upper layers (4, 5) are dielectric and/or oxidic layers, and the lowermost layer (6) is a metallic layer which consists of silver and forms a reflection layer (6). To increase the aging resistance, it is proposed that the interlayer (2) comprise an organic layer-forming varnish or be formed entirely from such a varnish that has been cured in an ionic photopolymerization and crosslinking or that has been cured after UV irradiation by free-radical photopolymerization and crosslinking.
