Abstract: A device for ventilating a vehicle seat, said device comprising: a cushion (12) which is elastic with respect to a user contact and which is designed to form a seating surface and/or a contact surface (24) for the back, said cushion having an air flow channel (16, 17) which forms an air outlet (15) in the direction of the seating surface and/or contact surface for the back; a cover unit (18) designed to at least partially cover the air outlet, the unit being air-permeable, rigid and preferably having a lattice-type construction; and a fan unit (14) which is associated with the air flow channel and which has an electric motor-driven fan rotor (30) and a fan housing (32), some sections of which housing radially surround the fan rotor. The cover unit and the fan unit are mutually spaced (d) along the air flow channel and preferably are secured to or in the cushion without a direct connection to sections of said cover unit and fan unit.

Abstract: One aspect relates to a catheter system, a use of such catheter system and a manufacturing method for such catheter system. The catheter system includes an at least partially flexible catheter body, at least a ring electrode, and at least a strain gauge. The ring electrode surrounds at least a portion of the flexible catheter body. The strain gauge is allocated to the ring electrode and the strain gauge is configured to measure a deformation of the flexible catheter body at a position allocated to the ring electrode to detect a contact between the ring electrode and tissue.

A fastening element is arranged in the center between four socket blocks and is a pin having a gear-shaped cross-section having four ridge-shaped teeth, a groove being formed on each of the four longitudinal edges of the individual socket blocks, which grooves have a first section and at least one second section adjoining the first section. The pin can be rotated about its longitudinal axis when the pin is arranged in the second section of the grooves.

Abstract: An electric connection terminal includes a housing, a spring clip and a metal part. The spring clip has a clamping leg and a contact leg. The clamping leg, together with a portion of the metal part, forms a spring force clamping connection for an electrical conductor. The housing includes a conductor insertion opening for the electrical conductor to be connected, and an actuation opening for opening the spring force clamping connection. An electrical conductor can be easily connected to a circuit board with the electrical connection terminal by virtue of the metal part being electrically and mechanically connected to a plug contact via a connection region. The plug contact includes two contact legs, which are resilient relative to each other, for plugging into a contact hole of a circuit board.

Abstract: A method for mounting a door handle support in a final position on a vehicle door provided with a door handle cutout includes providing a vehicle door having an outer surface and an inner surface, connecting a fastening adapter to the inner surface of the door, positioning an adapter cap on the fastening adapter, and positioning the door handle support on the adapter cap in an abutting position. The door handle support is fastened by fastening screws. Optionally, a paint bezel is applied on the door handle support. A door handle support fastening set is also disclosed.

Abstract: A door handle mounting device for a motor vehicle includes a door handle mount with a receiving space and a closing device attached to the door handle mount which is accommodated at least in part in the receiving space. The closing device includes a housing and a cylinder core rotatably supported in the housing and an actuator that is non-rotatably connected to the cylinder core for actuating a lock of the motor vehicle. A return element which exerts a return force on the actuator retains the actuator in its initial position or returns it thereto. The actuator is adapted to be rotated against the return force of the return element from the initial position and to an unlocking position or into a locking position. The return element is disposed lying radially surrounding the cylinder core and outside of the housing.

Abstract: Magnetically coupled pumps use cans which have a side wall arranged in a gap between a driver and a rotor of the pump. With a view to good efficiency of the pump, the gap should be as narrow as possible, which can only be achieved with a side wall of a thin wall thickness. In this case, the can must be of a sufficiently great strength, in particular to withstand the differences in pressure in the pump. At the same time, it must be possible for the can to be shaped into a desired geometry in a simple way and to have a high degree of dimensional stability, even under high pump pressures. It is proposed to make a can (1) with a side wall (3) that consists at least partially of a material with a nickel component, wherein the material is a nickel—chromium alloy comprising at least 50 percent by weight of nickel and 17 to 21 percent by weight of chromium, and to harden the side wall (3) by a heat treatment.

Maintenance is simplified with at least one mounting tube (6), which passes through one or the first end bottom (4) and into the outlet end (8) of which a particle filter (7) is plugged axially from the outside, with a deflecting housing (9). The deflecting housing (9) contains a deflecting chamber (10), and has at least one inlet (11) communicating with the deflecting chamber (10) and at least one outlet (12) communicating with the deflecting chamber (10). A fastening device (13) is provided for detachably fastening the respective inlet (11) at the respective outlet end (8) of the mounting tube (6).

Abstract: A communication system includes a redirect server and a deployment server configured to configure different terminal devices so that those devices are able to access a network of a service provider. A terminal device, computer readable medium and method are also disclosed that helps deploy such a service. In one embodiment, a communication system is configured so that a user of a terminal is provided with a code. The code is then communicated to a redirect server via a terminal associated with the user. The redirect server utilizes the code to determine the address of a deployment sever. The redirect server then provides the address to the terminal so the terminal can connect to a configuration management system so that the terminal may communicate with that system to be configured for accessing the network services hosted by the system.

Methods of sorting chips may include actuating the relief mechanism to increase a space between a top plate of the relief mechanism and the chip chamber. Methods of setting up a chip sorting device may include adjusting an inner lateral dimension of the at least one chip collection tube.

Abstract: An apparatus and related method for operating a cooking appliance comprising a convection oven, a hot-air steamer, or a convection steamer, which includes a cooking chamber which can be closed by a door, a heating device, at least one steam injection device, at least one flow-generating device such as a blower, at least one temperature sensor, which detects the temperature in the cooking chamber, and an electronic appliance control unit with memory, in which cooking programs comprising the cooking sequences for specific food products are stored. Based on the time extending from a starting to a target temperature value, it is determined on the basis of the detected temperature curve in the cooking chamber whether and possibly to what extent it will take extra time to reach the target temperature. On this basis the appliance control unit calculates a cooking time extension, by which the cooking program step is extended.
