  • Patent number: 7775592
Abstract: The invention relates to a seat frame of a motor vehicle seat with a seat carrier having two side parts that are oriented transverse to a front axis and to a rear axis, a pivotal bridge being pivotal about at least one of said axes, said bridge comprising a tie bar and two side arms, and with an adjustment device having a motor-driven drive unit. The drive unit is arranged for pivotal movement about a hinge shaft that is substantially centered on that axis of the two axes about which said pivotal bridge is pivotal. Said hinge shaft is shorter than the distance between the two seat parts and is not in contact with said two seat parts, but if at all with only one side part. There is provided at least one inner arm that connects said tie bar to said hinge shaft and is located in proximity to said drive unit.

  • Patent number: 7779214
Abstract: A processing system includes initialization software that is executable by a processor to identify one or more memory page sizes supported by the processing system. The supported memory page sizes that are identified by the initialization software are stored in one or more memory page size identification registers. Individual bits of the one or more memory page size identification registers may be respectively associated with a memory page size. Whether a memory page size is supported by the processing system may be determined by checking the logic state of the individual bit corresponding to the memory page size.

  • Patent number: 7775861
Abstract: The invention concerns a method of and an apparatus for redistribution of pasty filling material in a closed, individually separated packaging casing in tube or bag form. At least two conveyor belts form between mutually facing first belt portions a through-passage cross-section which is of such a dimension that, when the packaging casing is conveyed through the through-passage cross-section, the filling material is distributed substantially over the entire length of the closed packaging casing in tube or bag form. The invention further concerns a manufacturing installation in which such a redistribution apparatus is disposed upstream of a closure device for dividing off a sausage, closing it by means of closure clips and individually separating the closed sausage.

  • Patent number: 7774938
Abstract: Thus, the present disclosure includes a method of producing a weight-optimized pneumatic tire rim having rotationally-symmetrically partially different wall thickness. The steps include: providing a tube section having a first wall thickness and two end sides; leveling the first wall thickness starting from the two end sides over a defined rotationally-symmetrical area thereby forming two flanks by precontouring, each of the flanks having a second wall thickness, and pushing tolerance-caused excess material of the flanks into a well base zone between the two flanks; and contouring the flanks by pressure rolling while drawing each of the flanks toward an end area of each of the flanks and reducing the thickness of each of the flanks partially differently to predetermined measurements. The present disclosure also includes a device to implement the method.

  • Patent number: 7775806
Abstract: A printed circuit board arrangement and method includes a planar generally-rectangular vertically-arranged printed circuit board having front and rear surfaces terminating in a peripheral edge, at least one of the front and rear surfaces having a conductive printed circuit thereon. The printed circuit board has a vertical side edge portion containing a recess, and arranged adjacent the recess is a fixed contact connected with a conductor portion of the printed circuit. A relatively narrow conductor housing arranged outside the peripheral edge of the printed circuit board is mounted in the recess with a movable contact carried by the housing in electrical engagement with the fixed contact. The connector housing is supported by a rear wall mounted on the rear surface of the printed circuit board, and by a resilient clip on the connector housing that engages the printed circuit board adjacent the recess.

  • Patent number: 7775591
Abstract: In a fitting connected at one side to a backrest structure of a backrest and at the other side to the supporting structure of a seat part, having a first actuating element, by way of which the fitting can be activated to adjust the inclination of the backrest between use positions in a first angle range, having a second actuating element, by way of which the fitting can be activated so as to pivot the backrest freely from a use position in the first angle range into a pivoted-free position in a second angle range, and having a ring which is rotatably mounted on the fitting, when the fitting is activated, the second actuating element couples the backrest to the ring, so that the backrest, as it is pivoted freely, drives the ring at least when the second angle range is reached, and the ring then unlocks a longitudinal adjuster.

  • Patent number: 7778359
Abstract: A method for clock synchronisation between an amplitude-modulated or phase-modulated received signal (r(t)) and a transmitted signal (s(t)) estimates the timing offset (?) between the received signal (r(t)) and the transmitted signal (s(t)) by means of a maximum-likelihood method. The maximum-likelihood method in this context is realised by an estimation filtering (S40; S140) dependent upon the transmission characteristic, a subsequent nonlinear signal-processing function (S50; S150) and an averaging filtering (S60, S100; S180, S200). The received signal (r(t)) is especially a modified vestigial-sideband-modulated received signal (rVSB?(t)). The nonlinear signal-processing function (S50; S150) maintains the alternating component in the spectrum of the pre-filtered vestigial-sideband-modulated received signal (vVSB?(t)).

  • Patent number: 7777379
Abstract: To prevent damage to an electric machine (1), for example in a motor vehicle, due to axial loading of the rotor bearing in a simple manner, a cushioning element (11, 18, 22, 27) is proposed to absorb axial loading of the bearing system (6, 7), thereby also reducing the axial play (8) of the bearing system (6, 7). When the bearing system (6, 7) is axially loaded, the cushioning element (11, 18, 22, 27) serves to convert kinetic energy into deformation energy.
