  • Patent number: 7093477
Abstract: The invention relates to a torque sensor for calibrating screwing tools such as dynamometric keys or impact screw drivers. A torque sensor for calibrating screwing tools has an inner body defining an axis with respect to which a torque is to be measured. The inner body has a seat for engaugement of a screwing tool to be calibrated. An outer annular body is held stationary. This outer annular body is coaxial with the inner body and is connected therewith through radial webs of a first type and through radial webs of a second type. The first type webs have relatively large widths circumferentially but have relatively small axial dimensions. The second type webs are relatively narrow circumferentially but have relatively large axial dimensions. The torque sensor further comprises torsion measuring elements attached to said first type webs for measuring torsional deformation due to torques exerted on said inner body.

  • Patent number: 7093895
Abstract: A seat, in particular an aircraft passenger seat, has a seat component (10) and a backrest component (12) made at least in part of shell components. One shell component (22) is detachably connected to other components of the seat by a fastening mechanism. In the event of sudden introduction of force, as in the event of a crash, the shell component (22) is detached from the other components of the seat. A passive element is created by the shell component. When normal operating forces are present, that is, in the normal operating state of the seat, the passive element retains its position and shape. In the event of introduction of large force impulses, such as in sudden introduction of force in the event of a crash, the passive element is detached from the remaining shell structure of the seat without significant reaction forces being generated, which might cause injury of the seat occupant, and creates a free space in the seat.

  • Patent number: 7094265
Abstract: A cleaning device for a bundle of tubular filter elements designed with one end open, preferably of an industrial dust filter, is proposed. Injectors for delivery of a pulse-like compressed-air jet into the filter elements are arranged above the openings of the filter elements. The compressed-air supply of the injectors, controlled via valves, takes place via a number of nozzle tubes extending at right angles to the injectors, and a number of injectors are connected in a row to each nozzle tube. Only some of the nozzle tubes are connected directly to valves and these nozzle tubes extend to a deflection, from which at least one further nozzle tube closed at its end extends in the opposite direction. The deflection is preferably at the same time a branching from which two nozzle tubes extend, which are located on the two sides of the centrally arranged nozzle tube.

  • Publication number: 20060182880
Abstract: An installation for cross-linking an insulation layer or semiconductor layer of a cable, which is being produced and which passes through a reaction chamber filled with hot inert gas under pressure, provides that the conductor or conductors, as they progress through the reaction chamber and, accordingly, as the cross-linking progresses, are heated more strongly by inductive heating. Due to this measure, the cross-linking, which progresses from the inside and the outside to the center of the insulation layer or semiconductor layer and is associated with an increase in dimensional stability, is utilized for letting the cross-linking proceed more rapidly by increasing the temperature in the interior, that is, in the conductor. In this connection, the increase in dimensional stability of the insulation and/or semiconductor layer, which sets in as the cross-linking progresses, is utilized in order to increase the temperature of the conductor even more.
