Abstract: Systems and methods of the present invention provide for one or more server computers communicatively coupled to a network and configured to: generate a code to verify a correspondence address; store the code in association with a domain name; retrieve a correspondence address within a domain name record for the domain name; generate a correspondence to be sent to the correspondence address including the code and a URL for accessing a user interface for entering the code; determine whether the code has been entered into the user interface; and if so, update the domain name record to include a status reflecting a verification of the correspondence address and a date of the verification.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present invention provide for one or more server computers communicatively coupled to a network and configured to: receive a domain name search string; identify: a token, within the domain name search string, reflecting a user pattern; a next element in the sequence for the user pattern; and an available domain name comprising a string reflecting the next element in the sequence; and transmit the available domain name to a client computer communicatively coupled to the network.

Abstract: Several methods are disclosed for detecting and mitigating Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks that are intended to exhaust network resources. The methods use DDoS mitigation devices to detect DDoS attacks using operationally based thresholds. The methods also keep track of ongoing attacks, have an understanding of “protected IP space,” and activate appropriate mitigation tactics based on the severity of the attack and the capabilities of the DDoS mitigation devices.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present invention provide for a user uploading a file and a customized metadata about the file to a file storage system. This information may be forwarded to an application, possibly an API, which may divide the file into a plurality of file chunks if the file is greater than a predetermined file size. One or more tracker servers may check a database to locate optimal file locations for the file or file chunks to be stored within the file storage system. These optimal locations may be returned from the tracker servers to the application/API which may perform an HTTP request to write the file to the file storage system. The file write may be validated and finalized, and the successful write may be displayed to the user on a user interface on a client.

Abstract: Systems and methods for creating custom domain name links are provided. At least one server communicatively coupled to a network receives a request to create a custom domain name link to a third party service. The request identifies a custom domain name. The at least one server retrieves, from a third party service link database, an entry for the third party service specifying how to create the custom domain name link for the third party service and the at least one server creates the custom domain name link in accordance with the entry retrieved from the third party service link database.

Abstract: A system and method for creating custom domain name links is presented. A request is received by at least one server communicatively coupled to a network. The request is received from a user and is to create a custom domain name link to a third party service, the request identifying a custom domain name and the third party service. An entry is retrieved from a third party service link database for the third party service. The entry specifies how to create the custom domain name link for the third party service. The custom domain name link is created, by the at least one server, in accordance with the entry retrieved from the third party service link database.

Abstract: A system and method for the generation of candidate domain names and potential website content are presented. The method includes receiving, by at least one server communicatively coupled to a network, a request to access or purchase access to a software application, the request being received from a user. Keywords associated with at least one of the user, a website of the user, and a business of the user may be generated and a candidate domain name relevant to the keywords may be generated. A drill-down survey may be presented to collect information from the user that the user thinks is relevant to the generation of a candidate domain name or potential website content. The survey responses are aggregated and then analyzed to generate one or more candidate domain names and/or to suggest potential website content.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present invention provide for a first and second client computer configured to receive and transmit an authentication credential and at least one additional authentication credential respectively. The authentication credentials may be selected from authentication credentials known only to a user, identifying a client computer and/or identifying a characteristic unique to the user. A server computer communicatively coupled to the network may be configured to receive the authentication credentials and verify the identity of the user via a match, in a database, of a first authentication credential, a second authentication credential and a third authentication credential.

Abstract: A system and method for domain control validation is presented. At a certificate authority a request is received. The request includes a certificate signing request and a first Internet protocol address. The certificate signing request identifies a domain and a certificate. A second Internet protocol address for the domain is retrieved from a domain name system. When the first Internet protocol address is the same as the second Internet protocol address, the certificate is signed, and the signed certificate is transmitted to a requester of the request. When the first Internet protocol address is not the same as the second Internet protocol address, the certificate signing request is rejected.

Abstract: A system and method are presented for customizing a software application for a target market. A request to access an application is received, by one or more computer servers, from a user. At least one of a preferred language of the user and a location of the user are determined by the one or more computer servers, and a target market is determined using the at least one of the preferred language of the user and the location of the user. The target market defines a language and a region. The application is rendered by the one or more computer servers by modifying at least one of a user interface of the application and a content of the application using the target market.

A contact importance score rates a contact's engagement with business via purchases and online contact, and may further gauge the contact's engagement with other contacts and potential contacts. An engagement score rates a business' engagement with online visitors with respect to industry best practices. A method of generating the engagement score may include providing recommendations to the business for improving the engagement score. A method for recommending online content can identify public and privately-created content that is likely to engage a business' users. A website builder can include a tool for aligning content on the website. The website builder can further include a tool for creating a video for promoting the business.

The system may include one or more servers that provide multiple levels of access to the hosting server resources, and an administration server configured with one or more migration paths that allow the user to migrate the account between two levels while the account remains accessible to all entities authorized to access the account. The hosting server resources may be divided according to virtual partitions that are resizable by the administration server. The system may include a migration interface stored on and accessible to the user from the administration server. The migration interface provides the user with options to migrate the account between the levels of access. Abstract: A system and method for rendering web pages is presented. A request identifying a domain name and a web page is received by at least one server communicatively coupled to a network. A TXT record associated with the domain name is then retrieved by the at least one server and the TXT record is analyzed to identify one or more settings associated with the domain name or the web page. The web page is then rendered in accordance with the one or more settings into a rendered web page by the at least one server. Finally, the rendered web page is transmitted to a computer system using the network.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for dynamically updating the content of a website or a web service via a text message. A text service may receive, at a text phone number, the text message sent by a user from a text device. The text device may have a user phone number. In preferred embodiments, the text service may have a plurality of text phone numbers that may be called by a plurality of users. The text service may produce an action code based, at least in part, on the text message, the text phone number called by the user, the user phone number or some combination thereof. The text service may transmit the action code to one or more hosting servers to alter a website which may then be published. In another embodiment, the text service may transmit the action code to web server(s) that may alter a web service for the user.

Abstract: A system and method for the generation and presentation of candidate domain names are presented. The method includes receiving, by at least one server communicatively coupled to a network, a request to access or purchase access to a software application, the request being received from a user. Keywords associated with at least one of the user, a website of the user, and a business of the user are generated and a candidate domain name relevant to the keywords is generated. A user interface is displayed including the candidate domain name. The user interface enables the user to register the candidate domain name. A plurality of candidate domain names may be generated and organized into carousels or stacks according to a common theme. The candidate domain names may be displayed on a user interface and arranged thereon according to a relevance score of the domain name bundles.
