Abstract: One or more exemplary embodiments comprise an inductive charging system for charging a rechargeable battery for a handheld appliance, said inductive charging system comprising: (a) an inductive charging shell comprising a power transmitter, a printed circuit board (PCB), at least one charging shell magnet, and a power supply cord; and (b) a handheld appliance comprising a handpiece, wherein within said handpiece is disposed a rechargeable battery, at least one handpiece magnet adapted to attract to the at least one charging shell magnet, and at least one power receiver.
