Abstract: An LED lamp for replacement of directional incandescent lamps. The lamp comprises a screw base, a plurality of LEDs located in a first position, and a driver for the LEDs located in a second position separate from the first position. A lamp housing is secured to the screw base, with the LEDs and the driver being located in the lamp housing. A heat spreader is mounted in the lamp housing in proximity to the LEDs to remove heat therefrom.

Abstract: A portable remote activation device having an exceptionally long battery life. The activation device is composed of a receiver unit and a transmitter unit which are normally connected in tandem. The receiver unit includes a receiver, a battery source for powering the receiver, and a switch for activating the receiver by the battery. The receiver unit also includes a transmitter unit housing which is shaped to accommodate the transmitter unit and, with the transmitter unit so-accommodated, actuate the switch to disconnect battery power from the receiver. Only when the transmitter unit is removed from the receiver unit is the switch closed to connect the battery to the receiver, enabling the receiver to receive signals from the transmitter unit.
Abstract: A convenient versatile telephone handset has one set of telephone activating keys and another set of computer control keys. The special telephone handset can also have a card-receiving slot and a recessed mouthpiece. Advantageously, the flexible telephone handset is particularly useful for business travelers in airplanes, trains, and buses to link up to reservation systems and other data bases.
Abstract: A convenient versatile telephone handset and holder assembly are provided, which are particularly useful for business travelers in airplanes, trains, ships, and buses to link up to reservation systems and other data bases. The telephone handset preferably has one set of telephone activating keys and another set of computer control keys. The special telephone handset can also have a card-receiving slot and a recessed mouthpiece. The handset holder assembly has a sloping bottom portion and an elastomeric biasing member to facilitate quick removal fo the telephone handset. An overhead lock assembly can be provided to engage the credit card-receiving slot of the telephone handset in order to secure the handset when the handset is stored in the holder. A special reversible mount plate and bracket can also be provided to quickly and securely mount the handset to the left, right, or other portions of a chair, bulkhead, or other surface.
