Abstract: An imaging method for a virtual reality device, and a virtual reality device are provided. The method comprises: acquiring an image; calculating the radius of a minimum inscribed circle of the image ; calculating a distortion ratio at the minimum inscribed circle according to the radius and a selected distortion formula; enlarging the image by using the calculated distortion ratio as an enlargement ratio; distorting the enlarged image according to the distortion formula; and outputting the distortion processed image to a screen for displaying.
